Nearly 700 people signed up for my first AI, SEO & GEO Online Summit on December 9th, 2024. Three hours of back-to-back sessions. Four industry experts with one goal: help businesses understand and adapt to the rapidly changing landscape of AI-powered search.

I’ve been doing SEO for nearly three decades. But even with all that experience, the pace of change happening right now is unlike anything I’ve seen before.

That’s why I launched this summit series. There’s simply too much happening for anyone to keep up alone.

Cyrus Shepard on the Evolution of Search

The summit kicked off with a podcast-style conversation between Cyrus Shepard, founder of Zyppy SEO and one of the most respected voices in the SEO industry, and me.

Cyrus led attendees on a journey through the last 25 years of search, from Google’s early days to the sophisticated machine-learning systems that power search today. The emergence of large language models is fundamentally changing how people find and consume information.

What I appreciated most about this conversation was the historical context. Understanding how we got here helps cut through the noise and make smarter decisions about where to invest time and resources. If you want to understand the “why” behind what’s happening in AI search, this session provides essential context.

Brett Schlar on Why Companies Must Implement AI Now

Brett Schklar, Founder and CEO of AI-First Leadership, stepped in at the last minute and absolutely delivered.

Brett didn’t sugarcoat anything. He laid out the reality that businesses that delay AI adoption aren’t just falling behind. They’re actively losing ground to competitors who are moving now. The window to gain a competitive advantage through AI adoption is closing faster than most people realize.

His presentation was practical, urgent, and actionable. He didn’t just talk about why AI matters. He showed exactly what businesses should be doing right now to get started. Brett saved the day and crushed it.

Daniel Burns on BSM Co-Pilot Methodology

Daniel Burns, my COO at Boulder SEO Marketing, walked attendees through our BSM Co-Pilot methodology and the AI SEO platform we’re now deploying for every client.

The BSM Co-Pilot system represents over a year of development and refinement. It’s the backbone of our Micro SEO Strategies℠ approach. Daniel showed how we’re using AI to compress what used to take 11-15 weeks of research into just days.

Mike Koronugen on Tracking AI Search Performance

Mike Korenugin, Director of Product at SE Ranking, closed out the summit with the most practical session of the day.
